building
Community
from within
COUrse

A 12-week community-building companion
experience that throws out the traditional
predefined content delivered by an expert and
embraces a mix of right-on-time expert guidance,
small group mentoring, and curated resources, all in
the midst of the daily grind.
So that you can apply what you learn to your
project tomorrow, not "one day".
Two pods available.
Each pod has only five spots.
WHAT IS COURSE ?
A learning experience that gathers five
other professionals that are busy planning,
building, or nurturing an internal
community of learning and practice within
their company.
The journey starts with a 1:1 individual
audit of your current community-building
stage, challenges, and blockers.
Once that's mapped out, you’ll get access
to several videos and a Miro board, and
you’ll have two weeks to work through
them at your own pace.
After the audit and the content, you’ll have
clear focus areas to work on, and we’ll
meet every two weeks to strategically
support your progress through advice,
feedback, sense-making, mentoring, and
coaching.
And the best part? You'll benefit not only
from one person's experience and
expertise, but from five other peers
working on similar projects.
The content will be carefully curated to
cater to your particular challenge and
context and accessible asynchronously,
assuring that the information you need
reaches you exactly when you need it.
You'll have lifetime access to a Notion
resources database.
Between the live group session, you will
apply the tools, frameworks, and steps we
defined together. And don't worry if you hit
a wall in between sessions: you can use
our Slack community to ask questions and
get unstuck.
What is this not?
A structured course with "an expert" sharing a predefined curriculum that doesn't adapt to your current challenges, priorities, and needs.
noun
noun: nocourse; plural noun: nocourses
I enjoyed a complex learning experience, in terms of different
learning "ingredients" involved—consultancy, best practices sharing,
well facilitated concepts, learning technical tools, nice vibes—with a
notable impact if you are building a community right now.
—Ramona Baetelu, Senior Organizational Development Business
Partner at OTP Bank Romania
Week 2
Weeks 2 and 3
Weeks 4, 6, 8 and 10
experience timeline
Week 1
1:1 Community Audit
We’ll start with a 1:1 hour to deep dive into your
community based on an audit framework you
will benchmark your community against in
advance.
This will help us identify the main challenges,
and decide what you’ll be focusing on first.
Kick off workshop in your pod
We kick off with a connection and focus
workshop, to meet your pod-mates, and learn
what everyone will be working on.
Async content deep dive
Based on your individual goals, you’ll watch
several videos as I will take you through
different frameworks like community
foundations, strategy, member journey
mapping, and community engagement.
Then, you’ll work through the frameworks on a
Miro board, to make sense of what you are
learning and apply it to your community.
Pod Braintrust Session
Based on your individual goals what you’ll
discover through the audit and the content,
you will start applying and making progress in
your daily job.
We will meet every two weeks, for two-hour
sessions, in which you’ll bring concrete
challenges and get unstuck by tapping into the
collective brain of your pod.
Week 12
